placeit.fun respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.

1. Designated DMCA Agent

Send DMCA notices to dmca@notnotstudio.com. Use the subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice.

2. Filing a Takedown Notice

To submit a valid notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including the exact URL.
  3. Your contact information, including full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Our Response

After receiving a complete and valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the reported material and notify the affected user.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) to dmca@notnotstudio.com.

  1. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
  3. Consent to the appropriate federal court jurisdiction.
  4. Your contact information, including full name, address, phone number, and email.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances, we may suspend or terminate users who are repeat infringers.

6. Misrepresentation Warning

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly makes material misrepresentations in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
